Expert Leak Detection.

Gas companies will shut off your service at the first sign of a leak. To get it turned back on, you need a licensed plumber to fix the issue and certify the system's integrity.

Pinette Plumbing uses advanced electronic sniffers and pressure testing methods to pinpoint even the smallest micro-leaks in walls, basements, or underground. We work directly with the inspectors to get your meter unlocked and your heat back on ASAP.

Safety FAQs

What do I do if I smell gas?
1. EVACUATE immediately. 2. Do not touch any light switches or phones. 3. Call 911 or your gas utility from outside. 4. Call us after the utility company has made the scene safe.
How long does it take to fix a leak?
Locating the leak is often the hardest part. Once found, repairs can take a few hours. However, the inspection and re-connection by the utility company can sometimes take an additional day.
Why did my pipes corrode?
Black iron pipe (standard for gas) can rust if exposed to moisture, especially in damp basements or if burying underground without proper protection.
